the XYs...

1. Ananth:

is the most intense person of the group in whatever he does. Once he starts to speak about a topic, he usually doesn't stop. Very knowlegeable about most things, he tends to become emotional over little matters, but when someone is in need he is usually presentwith a helping hand or an ear to listen to one's woes. He is a designerlabel buff - Everything he wears has some kind of label on it.

2. Arun:

is the sweet, sensitive guy of the group with an overly diplomatic nature and an Amitabh fixation. He usually means well but sometimes tends to stumble over his own actions. During exam time he has a tendency to go overboard on the tension levels. Being too diplomatic is probably the only drawback of the 2 time winner of “Best Model” title of Delhi medicos and part-time actor.

3. Ekanka:

comes across as a highly introverted person, thinking only about studies. The youngest member of our group, he's very down-to-earth and practical. While the latter may be almost true - he's probably the only one who remains regular with his work all year long, he has two major passions - acting in which he shows great talent in essaying a variety of roles, & telling horrible PJs. That's why he's the official PJ king.

4. Mohit:

is the social animal of the group who loves a good party. Extremely outgoing and overly friendly he usually is the first to take the initiative during the planning of outings of the group, be it a trip out of station or simply a movie. Ghazals are his type of music and he loves to drag us to the corniest hindi movies. He likes to sing and is very competitive. His friends mean the world to them and he is very loyal to them. He often acts absolutely irrationally which can be quite irritating. He skates fantastically and every time he's tensed up his eyes start to act funny.

5. Mrinal:

is probably the most lethargic member of our group. Highly bright, he has a photographic memory. He absolutely loves to sleep and thus usually comes across as a little dozey. He is a lovely person from within, always the first to reach out to the underdogs. If you are feeling down and Mrinal happens to notice, expect a visit from him to cheer you up. He also tends to be too sensitive. You can expect him to act as a monkey and fool around or sit down and tell u about all the philosophies of life

6. Pankaj A. :

is an absolutely bindaas fellow. He takes whatever comes to him with an ever ready smile on his face, no matter how bad the situation and has the determination to crawl out of those situations. His only problem is that he has a great tendency to put his foot and ultimately leg into his mouth without realising it. He's always ready to lend a helping hand and is the group's always happy guy. He has an adventure streak in him and is always ready for an excursion. He's got a great brain and when he puts it to work he can do wonders. He has the look of a cat at times coz of his really wild looking eyes.

7. Pankaj Y.:

is the artist of the group. He draws beautifully and works out with the same passion. He's quite emotional although he tries to use aggressiveness as a defence mechanism. The cutest thing about him is his really authentic Haryanvi accent. The scariest thing about him is the way he stares, yet as soon as starts laughing you know he's almost a kid.

8. Pranav :

is our very own Mr DJ. He's in charge of music at all our parties and he does a good job of it. He's also a real techno - freak and once he gets hooked onto something he can be quite obsessive about it, be it work or play. He's got quite a lot of willpower. He tends to be quite loud and expressive at times which is put to good use in the plays in which he acts. He is also known as the Prince of tox-second only to ekanka. He's one person you can count on to have a solution to your probs, `coz he's quite practical. He has a 'don't care attitude' which can be mistaken for arrogance.

very skinny - this guy's major love in life is his work. During exams he's not to be seen anywhere and his tension level is unexceeded. But once he's free of that cloud he can become absolutely wild and downright stupid, but his antics are so funny that you just can't help like him. He loves to sing and his favourite line is “I love you all” which actually sums up his personality. He's always got a typically endearing libran smile. He doesn't open up easily but when he does he's great fun to be with. U can speak to sumit for hrs when in front of him but never on the phone.
